Apple purée

A simple step by step tutorial to make apple purée for your baby’s first tastes.

Ingredients

  • 2 Pink Lady apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 2 cups water

Method

  1. In a saucepan, bring the apples and water to the boil.
  2. Simmer for 10 minutes until the apples are very soft.
  3. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  4. Purée the boiled apple using a fork or blender until smooth or push it through a sieve.
