Eating for two can be challenging if you’re trying to make sure that you get all the nutrients that you need. Here is a wonderful and healthy recipe for expectant and new mothers; a delicious five spice salmon dish.
2 tbsp reduced salt soy sauce
1 tsp honey
½ tsp Chinese five-spice powder
4 x salmon fillets
1. Preheat the oven to 200˚C/180˚C fan/gas mark 6 and whisk together the soy sauce, honey and Chinese five-spice powder. Add the salmon fillets to a small baking dish and pour over the mixture.
2. Bake, covered, for 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through, removing the lid for the last five minutes of cooking.
